Product Description

EDI (Electrodeionization) is a revolutionary technology for water treatment. This technology uses the demineralization process of electrical regeneration ion exchange instead of traditional demineralization process of mixed ion exchange DI. The resin and selective ion membrane can reach high desalination effect by exchanging the ion, and if the process is combined with reverse osmosis, the water quality can be up to 10-15 MΩ@CM.
EDI uses the standard modules in design and can be assembled into arbitrary system according to the requirement, water output can be up to 1~450m³ /h.


Working Principle:
1. The supplied raw water enters EDI system, main portion flows into resin/membrane, and the other portion flows along the outboard of the membrane plate to clean the ion outside the membrane.
2. Resin captures undissolved ion.
3. The captured ion is forced by the electrode, anion moves to anode, and cation moves to cathode.
4. Cation permeates cation membrane, and discharge from resin/membrane.
5. Anion permeates anion membrane, and discharge from resin/membrane.
6. Concentrated ion discharges from wastewater flow channel.
7. Non-ion water discharges from resin/membrane.


Caution:
Avoid direct contact between skin and chemicals. Please wear goggles and protective suit. To reduce chemical spill, release the pipes' inner pressure first while dismantling the chemical pipe. Operate according to the manufacturer safety instruction on the container label.

Note:
Before discharging water, check the water's PH value and keep it within the allowed range. Before washing, ensure the module is power off.
